2009: The Year of Action and Positive Change for the Health of our Children
SAFbaby is reaching out to you today because we hope you will join us in our intention to make 2009 the year of action and positive change for the health of our children.
As parents, we ALL want a safe environment for our children, so SAFbaby is helping to make Action For Positive Difference really easy for busy parents this year. Just keep reading to find out how….
Sadly enough, harmful toxins surround our babies consistently. Their little systems and bodies are so vulnerable! The alarming thing is that one can not always tell where these toxins are hiding. In other words, we as parents need to be current with our research, and with our activism!
So, this coming year SAFbaby will help to make all of our voices heard. We intend to be activist for a positive change in 2009. Will you please join us?
Please check out our newest petition that we have just written regarding the toxic gas formaldehyde that is readily hiding in our babies clothing and bedding:

To help parents be active in keeping our children safe, we have devised a special place on site where we will have important petitions running. Our TAKE ACTION option (in our top banner bar) will continually be added to, all with petitions we have begun.
Please help us spread the word, encouraging signatures on all petitions you agree with, by sending them out to everyone you know.
Your support of our work benefits our children and their children. Thank you so much! Here’s to a safe, successful and joyful 2009.
Full of appreciation,
Samantha Fox and Sandra Blum

Children spend so much time in schools so why don’t we make sure they re safe. Many schools use harsh cleaning products that can be harmful to children. The Center for Health, Environment, and Justice has started the Green Flag Schools program campaign to promote good environmental practices in schools. On Friday February 13, 2009 CHEJ will host a Valentine’s Day of Action to raise awareness of the importance of green cleaning in schools. Visit the site and join the campaign!
