Vedababy Calm

Of all of the lotions that I have ever tried on my baby, or even on myself actually, this one is the ultimate! If I had to use one word to describe it: “Luxurious!”

I had just finished putting it on my baby girl when Daddy came home from work. She was running towards “dada” in joy of his arrival, and with big open arms he kept repeating, “You smell REALLY GOOD.” I counted him say it 3 times. And she did, she smelled really good!

Sandra’s husband has already had great success using vedaBaby Calm Moisturizing Cream as well! (You got to love it when Daddy’s fall in love with their baby girl’s skin products!) “He does have very sensitive skin, Read the rest of this entry »

Product Review: Children’s Homeopathic Remedy Kit

April 16th, 2008 safbaby Posted in Natural Remedies, Product Reviews No Comments »

Childrens Homeopathic Kit by Washington HomeopathicMy whole family in Switzerland is a big fan of homeopathic medicine! My sister (mom of two), swears by it and refuses to use anything else.

I own a Single 100-Remedies Homeopathy kit, which I received as a gift from my mother a few years ago. I also purchased a few homeopathic combination remedies for my daughter for colic, cough, and teething, but wish I would have known about this convenient Children’s Combination Kit by Washington Homeopathic.

The cost of this kit is much more economical than buying individual bottles and it comes in a great plastic case, so you can bring it with you wherever you go. Read the rest of this entry »

Product Review: Dr. Jay Gordon’s DVD - Vaccinations? Assessing the Risks and Benefits

April 2nd, 2008 admin Posted in Product Reviews, Vaccines 2 Comments »

Dr. Jay Gordon’s DVD: Vaccinations? Assessing the Risks and BenefitsSafbaby is excited to tell you about “Vaccinations? Assessing the Risks and Benefits” a DVD by Dr. Jay Gordon.

Why? Because as I watched Larry King Live tonight, I participated in the quick vote which polled the question if vaccines cause and contribute to autism. Shockingly 82% of the polled population said, “Yes.” That is a huge number, and in honor of Autism Day, we bring you this product review, “Vaccinations? Assessing the Risks and Benefits.”

This DVD is very insightful about this controversial issue, and we think all parents, or soon-to-be parents, must be informed. Read the rest of this entry »

Product Review: Eldertussin Elderberry Syrup (Herbs for Kids)

March 30th, 2008 safbaby2 Posted in Natural Remedies, Product Reviews No Comments »

Eldertussin Elderberry SyrupAfter our article on Winter Wellness for Children, I had my baby girl on Eldertussin Elderberry Syrup to help boost her immune system. And now after posting Dr. Jay Gordon’s article on treating ear infections naturally, I am fired up again about the healing properties of elderberry.

Elderberry:

  • is an anti-viral,
  • contains high levels of flavonoids and antioxidants,
  • has cell-protecting components, and
  • supports the immune response,
  • soothes irritated throats, and
  • supports respiratory systems.

    Product Review: Baby Ergo Carrier

September 11th, 2007 safbaby Posted in Product Reviews 1 Comment »

ergo_carrier.gifIf I had to pick 3 things that I would not want to go without, the Ergo Baby Carrier would be one of them! Me and my husband love to be in nature and hike, so this definitely fits into our lifestyle perfectly. We have the organic denim carrier, but they come in other colors too.

I was first introduced to the Ergo Baby Carrier when my friend came to visit us in Kauai. My baby was 3 months old, and her boy was 1 years old.
