When it arrived I was so pleased to see a large MADE IN THE USA sticker on the shipping box, and that the packaging used was bare minimal!  Conscious on every level!!!

Although I have to admit I was a little nervous of putting it together because I have zero handy-man skills.  BUT, the set up was so incredibly easy, all I needed was a screwdriver and it took me less that 1/2 hour from start to finish to put this beautiful table together!  That means it took me at least half the time to put this eco-friendly picnic table together as it does to clean my veggies once I get home from the farmer’s market!

Sustainably Harvested Cedar

The manufacturer grows their own trees and takes great pride in managing their woodlots in an environmentally safe, sustainable and responsible manner. Each tree is hand selected and harvested during the cold Maine winters to minimize damage to the surrounding trees and saplings. The logs are cut to length and milled so as to minimize waste. Once the rough cut lumber is dried, it is planed and sorted so that only the very best boards are used in their shop. (The rest is sold locally as dimensional lumber, so it doesn’t go to waste!).
