EcoStore’s Oxygen Whitener and Laundry Liquid – Free of Toxic Chemicals, Perfumes, and Dyes
Bleach is often used to brighten, whiten and even disinfect. Just the other day I saw a Clorox commercial advertising bleach as a safe way to disinfect baby bottles, toys and more.
Unfortunately, chlorine bleach is a nasty chemical, which should be kept far away from our babies and children’s environments. (Not to mention it’s negative impact it has on our mother earth too.)
SAFbaby is extremely passionate about keeping harmful chemicals away from our babies and children (if you haven’t noticed). So, we really fell in love with the intention Eco Store shares with us, “no nasty chemicals.”
No Nasty Chemicals™ is the foundation of the entire product line and philosophy of Eco Store. And when we discovered the magical uses for their Eco-whitener, we were blown away! Get a load of this….
Not only do we both love the whitening power (yet gentle on the environment and baby’s skin) of this product for laundry brightening, but “this oxiclean stuff is the best fridge cleaner ever, nothing helped removing stains but this stuff worked like magic!”
Another use parents everywhere will love from this product: it effectively and easily removes your little one’s crayon masterpieces off of your dining room walls too!
Natural, Plant-based Oxygen Brightener is Chemical Free
The Pure Oxygen Whitener contains oil of citrus and Coconut and other natural ingredients.
Eco mommas will love the way this product brightens and cleans baby’s clothes and does not contain any harsh chemicals that could irritate delicate skin! Especially a bonus if you use cloth diapers and want to freshen up the folded inserts that rest directly on their bare bums.
Their plant-based ingredients make us smile:
- Carbonates (simple mineral salts)
- Sodium percarbonate (oxygen producing whitener)
- Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)
- Citrates (from citrus)
- Highly biodegradable surfactant
- Natural citrus oil
This naturally active Pure Oxygen Whitner is available at here for $12.00 for a super concentrate 35.3 oz. container.
EcoStore’s Plant Based Laundry Liquid
Can’t end this review without a well-deserved shout out for EcoStore’s skin friendly laundry liquid too.
Ecostore USA uses 100% Certified Organic Eucalyptus oil and plant-based ingredients, making it ideal for washing our children’s clothing since their skin is so brand new and delicate.
Conventional laundry liquids often leave chemical residue on bedding, clothes and even skin, making this product is a wonderful, safe alternative.
These ingredients will keep your delicate babes skin happy and healthy:
- Palm and Coconut based non-ionic and anionic surfactants
- Fatty acid derivative
- Mineral hydroxide
- Certified organic Eucalyptus oil
We love that this laundry liquid comes in a super concentrated form, so the bottle is small and you use it by the Tablespoon! What another way to keep those typical, large plastic laundry containers, out of our landfills. Thanks Eco-Store!
Their 33.8 fluid ounce bottle sells for just $11.00 here. And since it is used in such small amounts, my container seems to last forever! Yahoo!

Can you please tell me how you prepared this to use on your fridge? tx
Just add some of the EcoStore’s Oxygen Whitener on a wet sponge and it will remove any stain – My fridge looks like new again!
Do theses products REALLY work? I have been doing my best to switch to more natural products, but have found that many of them just don’t cut it. For instance, we tried the Seventh Generation dishwasher detergent and were not thrilled with the fact that even after two washes the dishes still weren’t clean. Also, I am even more disappointed to found out that their #2 ingredient in most of their products (laundry, dishes, cleaner) are SLS’s. Not very friendly in my book.
We only post reviews that we test and approve of. So if you see a review we have written, we like it and have tested it.
Read the review to see how we have tried it and liked it. Hope this helps.
I have not yet found a green dish washing detergent that I like either. And yes, reading the ingredients is always recommended by us and knowing what exactly to avoid is the best too.
Thanks
Samantha
