Safe Alternatives for Baby and Child

We used these adorable bamboo disposable plates for my little girl’s second birthday party. What a eco-fabulous way to party in style, along with having the convenience of no clean-up! Nothing like giving a party AND enjoying it too. With Bamdino Bamboo Plates, I was able to do just that!

The new Kids Spork double times its duties, and was a fun way to celebrate and eat our fruit salad with too! The sporks were also then taken home by each child to enjoy time and time again. Eco-friendly Alternatives to Paper and Styrofoam Plates and Utensils

Bamboo is a safe alternative to Styrofoam (uh duh), because Styrofoam never biodegrades and these bamboo plates will decompose in 4-6 months in your compost!

As an alternative to paper plates, it is nice to know that bamboo is a highly renewable material. It is one of the earth’s fastest growing plants. Bamboo needs no replanting, grows without fertilizers or pesticides and is harvested from controlled stands with an astounding growth cycle of three to five years. Bamboo is not a wood, but a species of grass.

Also, the species Bambu uses (Moso) is not consumed by the panda!
