I was interviewed on two different news channels and got as many people as I could to write the CPSC and the law makers to get it revised. That law was going to put all kinds of small businesses out of business. I am a homeschooling mother of four young children. I buy organic food, make my own cleaners, laundry detergent, and soap, and try to buy only safe toys. However, the way the law was written it was absurd! I also buy and sell many things second-hand and that would have become illegal. Think of how quickly the landfills would fill up when we can't do anything with our used items anymore but throw them out! It would have also put small local businesses, making the type of toy I want to buy, out of business! I am appalled that we sell toys with harmful substances in them in our developed county, but that law was far from the answer! I do a lot of research before I buy something.
