Natural Skin Care For Kids With Eczema Or Other Skin Sensitivities
This new line of skin care from Skin Free® is fabulous! As soon as I put it on my skin I loved it. Nothing fancy, no long list of ingredients (just a handful on really natural ingredients at most), and zero fragrance. This combo helps to make this a perfect line of skin care for babies, children, pregnant mamas, or anyone with sensitive skin or skin irritations.
Scoring a ZERO on Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep site is tested information stating that a skin care product, or in this case LINE of products, are non-toxic, chemical free, safe and natural. Skin Free® scores a ZERO! Completely non-toxic skin care, great for all people, even infants, with skin conditions or sensitive skin.
I knew I was sold after using these products personally, my skin felt hydrated and nourished. It felt as though my skin drank this stuff up! But, how would it do for a family with skin conditions such as eczema?
100% Natural Skin Care For Eczema
We put the Basic Four Gift Set by Skin Free® to the test on a family with eczema and irritations. The following is the mother’s testimony on her experience with all 4 of these natural products:
Shampoo and Soap for Eczema
The first Skin Free® product we tried was the Extra Moisturizing Soap & Shampoo Bar. My son has Eczema on his back, upper butt and arms. We loved the bar because it is Shampoo and soap so I didn’t have to worry about what I was using to wash his hair irritating his skin. The soap feels nice and non-drying. Also my 2 year old loved that this was his special soap so it made it much easier to get him to use it.
Moisturizer for Eczema
We then used the After Shower Moisture Spritz which is so easy to use and didn’t leave him to oily. Its was just the right amount of moisture. I used that once a day after his shower. It was so easy to apply. Then before bed we would use the Super Moisture Balm which was oily at first but really did the trick from the first morning he woke up I noticed his skin changed.
The first week we noticed his skin was smoother and less itchy and by the end of week two the blotchy spots were fading. His Eczema is not gone yet but is improved. There was such an improvement in the way his skin feels it is wonderful! You really need to feel the difference.
Butter Stick for Dry Skin
We also used the Niaouli Butter Stick, which smelled so great and was nice to put on the kids without getting my hands sticky. I used it on my 7 month olds tummy where she has a dry patch and its much softer but still visible. I keep it right on the changing table and whenever I change her I rub some on.
A Safe Alternative to Chemical Products
We’ve been to the doctors a few times and I never end up using the chemical products they prescribe. Whatever we put on our skin ends up inside our bodies. Kids are so small that it really effects them more them we know. I was happy to know that there is nothing unsafe in the Skin Free® products they are all natural and safe for my kids. I am excited to see if this product completely takes his Eczema away.
These products are made well and have people with sensitive skin in mind… and that’s my whole family! I will be using these products and I plan on getting some of there aging products for me.
All Natural Ingredients in Skin Free®
If you have a child with skin conditions, or if you yourself are suffering chronic dry or damaged skin please know what every ingredient in your skin care products are!
Many skin care products readily available on today’s market are based with petroleum jelly or mineral oil. This is a toxin and a good substance to drench your damaged or sensitive skin in.
Oils obtained from veggie sources are readily absorbed, provide a luscious feeling on the skin, and offer benefits such as antioxidants, vitamins and other healing nutrients that are not found in chemical based skin care.
Lotions are mostly water and require preservatives to prevent fungal growth. These toxins are known to irritate skin more. A strictly vegetable oil vehicle can offer a greater saturation of the skin, a more satisfying sensation when applied, and requires no chemical preservation from fungal overgrowth! Yahoo!
Skin Free® Skincare Products are vegetable oil based and 100% pure.
