ergo_carrier.gifIf I had to pick 3 things that I would not want to go without, the Ergo Baby Carrier would be one of them! Me and my husband love to be in nature and hike, so this definitely fits into our lifestyle perfectly. We have the organic denim carrier, but they come in other colors too.

I was first introduced to the Ergo Baby Carrier when my friend came to visit us in Kauai. My baby was 3 months old, and her boy was 1 years old. She wore her boy all over the island, and not only was I totally sold on one for us, it seemed that a mom in every spot we went to was asking her about it as well.

You can wear your baby in 3 positions: on your front with the baby facing you, on your hip, and on your back. I never choose to wear my baby on my side because I like the symmetrical positioning, for I feel it is better on my body.

I have worn my baby not only hiking, but while vacuuming, grocery shopping, and back-and-forth to our car. We live in an apartment, so having diaper bags and other things to constantly bring with us, my hands are usually full and the Ergo Baby Carrier helps me manage it all without compromising my back, shoulders, and wrists. The Baby Ergo is also my savior in the airport. Kaili and I have traveled several times on airplanes together alone, and without the Ergo I don’t know how I would have gotten from A to B with all the luggage, car seat, stroller, and baby. It was a nice addition to the stroller, because when she had enough of that, I strapped her to me and she became very content.

There is definitely something so sweet in having your baby close to you. She loves being in there, and it feels completely safe! The Ergo Baby Carrier will hold up to 40 pounds, so it is an investment that will last for years! I have even see a mother with twins wearing a baby on the front, and one on the back!

Another thing that I love about this carrier is that it helped me relieve carpel tunnel pains in my wrists. By having my baby attached to me, my arms and wrists were free. The support is great around my back and hips, making it so comfortable. I have seen other backpacks for babies, but they are all so big and clunky. That is just not practical for me. The Ergo Baby is perfect, you can bring it anywhere and everywhere!
